World Literacy Organization (WLO) aims to promote access to quality education globally. We strive to build a future where every individual has the opportunity to develop their full potential, regardless of their geographical location or personal circumstances.
In WLO, we believe in the fundamental importance of education as a driver of progress and social transformation. Our vision is to create a world where literacy and knowledge are accessible to everyone, empowering people to face the challenges of the 21st century with confidence and skill.
Through our Academic Development and Strengthening Program 2024, we seek to address the diverse educational needs present in all countries, focusing mainly on Latin America and the Caribbean. We are committed to promoting innovative educational solutions adapted to the particular realities of each community, with the aim of strengthening individual and collective capacities.
In addition, we are dedicated to promoting practices that foster literacy in all its forms, from basic reading and writing skills to advanced digital competencies. We firmly believe in the transformative power of education for individual and social development, as we not only seek to empower people to access educational and employment opportunities, but also promote social inclusion, civic participation, and sustainable community development.

We strive to be leaders in promoting innovative educational solutions adapted to the specific needs of each community, thus contributing to the strengthening of individual and collective capacities around the world. Being referentes in the promotion of literacy in all its forms, from basic reading and writing skills to advanced digital skills, recognizing its importance for personal development, social inclusion, and the sustainable progress of global societies.
- Grade 0: Aimed at communities with literacy needs, providing training programs that allow the development of reading and writing skills.
- Grade 1: Aimed at communities with demonstrable skills, but without formal academic qualifications, workers with empirical knowledge, who require to formally academicize their knowledge.
- Grade 2: Aimed at communities with technical high school graduates, technologists or senior technicians, who wish to continue their professional training.
- Grade 3: Aimed at communities of professionals with university degrees, who wish to update their knowledge through continuing education programs or fourth-level degrees.
